Job Description
As a Business Development Manager at Qubit Capital, you will spearhead client acquisition efforts, build strong relationships with startups, and drive the initial engagement process. This remote role requires someone with a proactive attitude, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the startup and investment landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Identify and approach startups across industries that align with Qubit Capital’s services.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at startups.
- Lead Qualification: Analyze potential clients to determine their fundraising needs and assess fit with Qubit’s offerings.
- Service Presentation: Clearly articulate Qubit Capital’s services, including fundraising assistance, pitch deck creation, and investor mapping.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a structured client pipeline and track progress through CRM tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Investment Banking (IB) team to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and client onboarding.
- Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in business development, sales, or client-facing roles, preferably in investment banking, fundraising, or related industries.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related fields. An MBA is a plus.
Skills:
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to build lasting client relationships.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge of the fundraising lifecycle and startup ecosystem.
