# Europe Seed Weekly Funding Roundup (Jun 13-20, 2026): $25.9M Raised Across 3 Deals

European seed investors backed three startups this week, putting $25.9M to work across cybersecurity, climate logistics, and enterprise software. One deal carried most of the weight. NeuralTrust’s $20M round, the largest cybersecurity seed an EU company has raised, accounted for roughly four of every five dollars committed. The other two rounds were smaller and more targeted, with capital going to a Berlin freight operator and an Italian procurement software maker.

The common thread is applied AI inside real workflows rather than model-building for its own sake. NeuralTrust secures the AI agents enterprises are already deploying. NexDash runs an AI operating system to consolidate diesel trucking fleets and switch them to electric. Soource wants procurement software to move from suggesting actions to taking them. Each company is selling into a market where buyers want results they can measure, not demos.

## 1. NeuralTrust Raises $20M For Enterprise AI Agent Security

### Deal Overview

- Stage: Seed

- Sector: Cybersecurity, AI agent security and governance

- Geography: Barcelona, Spain

- Round size: €17.2M (about $20M)

- Valuation: not disclosed

### Investor Profile

Alstin Capital led the round. [NeuralTrust](https://neuraltrust.ai) also drew checks from VentureFriends, Seaya, Kibo Ventures, Banc Sabadell, EA Ventures Plug and Play Fund, and Finaves, the venture fund of IESE Business School. Public money came in too, from the European Innovation Council and Spain’s State Research Agency.

That public backing matters for credibility with the governments and regulated firms NeuralTrust is chasing. The syndicate mixes Spanish institutional names with European VCs that can support a later US push.

### Company and Leadership

NeuralTrust was founded in 2024 by Joan Vendrell, Victor Garcia, and Alejandro Domingo. Vendrell, the CEO, held executive roles at Mango, Amazon, and McKinsey before starting the company.

The founding team paired enterprise operating experience with security engineering, a useful combination when the buyers are large companies with strict procurement bars.

### Problem and Opportunity

Enterprises are deploying AI agents faster than they can track them. Many security teams don’t know how many agents are running, what systems they touch, or what each one is allowed to do. NeuralTrust calls this the visibility problem.

The company points to a Gartner forecast that 40% of enterprises will shut down AI agents by 2027 because of governance failures found only after something breaks in production. NeuralTrust wants to catch those problems first.

### Product and Technology

The platform has three parts. TrustGate is a gateway that handles model calls, tool calls, and protocol requests as a single control point. TrustGuard is a real-time engine that detects and blocks threats no matter how an agent was built. TrustLens maps every agent a company runs and tracks what each one does.

NeuralTrust says it flags about 1.2% of enterprise AI interactions, roughly one in 80, as malicious. That telemetry feeds back into detection across its customer base. It reports that 92% of its customers generate more than $1 billion in annual revenue, and an EU base appeals to sovereignty-minded buyers.

### Use of Proceeds and Vision

NeuralTrust will hire engineers, tie its three layers closer together, and expand across Europe before entering the US. The company says it doubled its full-year 2025 recurring revenue in the first quarter of 2026 alone.

The goal is to be the control plane that lets enterprises run agentic AI at scale without losing oversight, with European data sovereignty as the wedge against US rivals.

### Market Context

NeuralTrust sits inside a European cybersecurity market worth more than $72 billion in 2025 and growing around 11% a year through 2033. The AI-security slice is consolidating fast. Palo Alto Networks bought Protect AI for about $500M in April 2025. Most direct competitors, including Lakera, are US-based, which is part of why NeuralTrust leans on its European footing.

## 2. Soource Raises $3.3M For Autonomous Procurement

### Deal Overview

- Stage: Seed

- Sector: SaaS, procurement software

- Geography: Bolzano, Italy

- Round size: €3M (about $3.25M)

- Valuation: not disclosed

### Investor Profile

Soource raised from Vertis, Tenity, 360 Capital, and Club degli Investitori. The group blends Italian venture funds with an angel investor network, a typical early-stage syndicate for a company at this size.

Tenity brings fintech and enterprise software experience, while 360 Capital and Vertis add growth-stage reach for follow-on rounds.

### Company and Leadership

Soource is based in Bolzano, in northern Italy. The company builds software for corporate procurement teams.

Its pitch is a shift in how that software works, moving the tool from an assistant that recommends to a system that executes.

### Problem and Opportunity

Procurement still runs on manual review. Teams compare suppliers, check terms, and approve purchases by hand, which is slow and prone to inconsistency. Most current AI tools stop at suggestions, leaving the actual work to people.

Soource is betting that buyers want software that closes the loop and acts, not just advises.

### Product and Technology

The company frames its product as a move from a copilot model to an autopilot model. Where a copilot drafts and recommends, an autopilot carries the task through with limited human input.

For procurement, that means handling routine sourcing and purchasing decisions end to end, with people stepping in on exceptions rather than every transaction.

### Use of Proceeds and Vision

The €3M will fund product development as Soource builds out the autonomous side of its platform and adds customers.

The longer aim is to handle more of the procurement cycle without a person driving each step, freeing teams to manage policy and supplier strategy instead.

### Market Context

Procurement software is a crowded category, with established suites covering sourcing, spend, and supplier management. The newer wave of entrants is competing on how much work the software can do on its own. Soource is positioning on that axis, betting that autonomy becomes the feature buyers pay for.

## 3. NexDash Raises $2.7M To Electrify European Road Freight

### Deal Overview

- Stage: Seed, structured as a pre-Series A commitment

- Sector: Climate, electric logistics

- Geography: Berlin, Germany

- Round size: €2.5M (about $2.7M)

- Valuation: not disclosed

### Investor Profile

[NexDash](https://www.nexdash.com) secured €2.5M from EIT Urban Mobility. The check is a pre-Series A commitment that also locks in EIT Urban Mobility’s participation in the coming Series A.

Earlier backers include Extantia Capital and Clean Energy Ventures, who joined a €5M seed in November 2025, three months after the company was founded.

### Company and Leadership

NexDash was founded in 2025 by Michael Cassau, who previously built and ran the tech-rental unicorn Grover. It was spun out of Platform Horizons, an investment platform Cassau set up.

Cassau’s track record scaling an asset-heavy rental business is relevant here, since NexDash also owns physical assets rather than just selling software.

### Problem and Opportunity

Heavy trucks produce more than 25% of EU road transport emissions, and tightening regulation is pushing the sector toward electric. Adoption is still slow because the trucks cost a lot up front and fleets lack the expertise to manage the switch.

The market is also fragmented. More than 90% of European freight operators run small, ageing diesel fleets with thin capital and little digitization.

### Product and Technology

NexDash calls itself Europe’s first Neo-Carrier and runs a Trucking-as-a-Service model. It buys established mid-sized diesel operators, converts their fleets to electric, and runs them on its own AI operating system, NexOS.

NexOS coordinates fleets, charging and energy, and financing in real time. Owning both the trucks and the software gives NexDash operating data and customer relationships that a pure software vendor would not have.

### Use of Proceeds and Vision

The funding will speed up fleet conversion and expand operations across NexDash’s core European markets. It builds on the company’s first acquisition, March Transporte in Rheinbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, completed in March 2026.

The plan is a connected, AI-run electric freight network, with autonomous logistics as a later step.

### Market Context

EU rules are pushing freight toward electrification while the operator base stays fractured. Capital needs, operational gaps, and fleet-management complexity have kept most carriers on diesel. NexDash’s roll-up-plus-software approach targets that gap directly, consolidating small operators and bringing capital and technology they can’t fund alone.

## Lessons For Founders

- Sell governance, not just capability. NeuralTrust raised a record cybersecurity seed by selling control over AI that companies have already deployed, citing a hard Gartner stat on agents getting shut down. Fear of breakage moves enterprise budgets.

- Geography can be a moat. NeuralTrust turned an EU base into a sovereignty advantage against US rivals. Where you sit is a feature when buyers are governments and regulated firms.

- Owning assets plus software beats software alone in fragmented markets. NexDash buys carriers and runs them on its own platform, gaining contracts and operating data a pure SaaS player can’t reach.

- Move from advice to action. Soource is betting buyers will pay more for software that executes procurement decisions than for tools that only recommend. Doing the work is worth more than suggesting it.

- A repeat founder shortens the path. Cassau’s Grover background let NexDash raise twice and make an acquisition within months of founding. Operating proof speeds up the next round.
